Sales Manager Kajo Bauer remarks: „As the German agent for CadCam Technology, England we are happy to present the FB 500, a very compact laser cutting and engraving machine. This type of laser is characterized by its high speed accuracy and stunning production quality. The combination of versatility, performance and the ability to process a variety of materials as well as its compact dimensions, make it especially attractive for small businesses. „
On all three days of the trade show, there will be hands-on demonstrations on the laser, showing how easy and fast it can be to laser-cut or engrave appliqués. On the three additional product information counters of the Gunold booth, embroidery will be the main focus. At the 65 sqm booth, which is designed to be open on all four sides, visitors are invited to explore island demo-stations on software for punching, on embroidery threads and ironing, on embroidery backings, foils and fabrics

„As always expectations are high for the 2014 edition of the show in Stuttgart, thus we will present our comprehensive range of embroidery threads, embroidery backings, specialty fabrics and accessories“, mentions Stephan Gunold, Head of Marketing. „The TecStyle Vision is our most important trade show this year and it goes without saying that we will bring along several interesting new products. In 2014 our main focus are topics like „Stunning Creative Ideas for Embroidery Designs“ as well as „Quality Improvement of the Finished Embroidery Design“. One of Gunold“s utmost concern is to demonstrate how easy it can be to achieve a higher quality of the embroidery design. And everybody knows that digitizing plays a major role in this respect. At the demo-station „Digitizing“, Massimo Baezzato from Constitch, the popular instructor for GUNOLD seminars and workshops, is going to introduce a new concept for digitizing and he will be available for expert advice and for all questions regarding embroidery digitizing with Wings and digitizing seminars.

At the other remaining demo-stations, trade show visitors may take a closer look at suggestions for better handling of embroidery supplies and they may inspect Gunold“s comprehensive product range including all trade show novelties. Furthermore, the new seminar schedule for the 1st half of 2014 will be introduced.

Trade Show Product News at a Glance

FELTY – new in the range of specialty fabrics, Felty is a premium felt that can be easily laser-cut and engraved. It is available in 18 different colors.

Pre-cut Backings – saving time, waste and off-cuts at last. On popular demand by its customers, Gunold now offers pre-cut backings. The most popular backings STIFFY 1650, STIFFY 2040 and STIFFY 1640B are available in foil packs of 250 sheets each, in white, size 20cmx20cm. Additional varieties are available upon request with a minimum order of 20,000 sheets.

TOOL KIT 2 – after the successful introduction of TOOL KIT 1, the handy case with scissors, pincers and seam ripper, Gunold now launches TOOL KIT 2, an additional clever set for embroidery pros with a sharp surgeon’s knife and a thread hook to easily remove thread snarls in the needle plate. Thread snarls are rare but can be a serious problem when forming a bird“s nest underneath the garment. Sometimes it seems almost impossible to untangle these thread snarls without causing damage to your work piece.
Now TOOL KIT 2 comes in handy: use the knife to sever the threads, then carefully remove any thread residues underneath the needle plate by guiding the hook between needle plate and bobbin thread case.

STICKPROTECT – this very soft, stretchy fusible gauze is now available in black. STICK-PROTECT is ironed to the wrong fabric side to completely cover the finished embroidery design thus preventing irritating of the skin. Since STICKPROTECT is now available in black and white it can be used for both, dark and bright fabric colors alike.

About Laser Technology

Laser is short for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. The main components of a laser are the laser active, light amplifying medium, an optical resonator, and a source of energy (flashlight). Laser-cutting is a modern processing method to work on similar work pieces as in classic mechanical processing. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Albert Einstein had already researched the functionality of lasers. The theoretical basic details of a laser machine had been worked out at that time as well. However, only during the „70s this knowledge was put to practical use. The first laser devices for material processing were launched. Today the British company CadCam Technology is a leading supplier for laser cutter and laser engraving machines. GUNOLD acts as their general agent for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For more information, please visit www.gunold.de and www.cct-uk.com
