The motto of the 2015 Life Ball is „Ver Sacrum – Santa Primavera – Sacre du Printemps“ and will, for the 23rd time, bring international attention to the fight against HIV/AIDS. In glittering gold and inspired by Viennese Secessionists, this charity event is not only a sensual celebration of the joy of living, but also a call for greater acceptance.

Portrayed as Golden Adele, the famous portrait by art nouveau artist Gustav Klimt, Conchita Wurst is glamorous as always – the perfect re-casting choice. The spirit of the Vienna Secession is visible on a small scale on the limited edition #lifeballmedal from the Austrian Mint.
Bearded ambassador for acceptance and diversity the in the meantime also called Conchita medal is designed in the style of the „Klimt and his Women“ gold coin series: the portrait of a woman in the foreground is surrounded by typical art nouveau ornamentation.
